Renbukai Karate has a history of legendary martial artists. From the magnanimous Kanehara Sensei and Toyoshima Sensei, to the never ageing Kikumura Sensei - who has won numerous JKF championships which is no mean feat. Their legacy is being carried forward by Sensei Taishi in Japan and Sensei Subodha Dhiman in India.
In Renbukai, our teachers are different, because they never stop training.
Sensei kikumura toshihiko
Sensei Toshihiro Kikumura is the World Director and Chief Instructor of Renbukai Karate.
His achievements and reputation precedes him. He has won several tournaments including the renowned Kanagawa Cup, All Japan Bogu Tournament, All Japan Kata Tournament and many others. Despite being over 50 years old, he continues to win some of the most prestigious Karate competitions in the world.
Sensei Toshihiko has been teaching Karate over 35 years and has traveled to many countries to guide students in their endeavor to become better Karate-ka.
In person, Sensei is humble, and yet one can feel the aura of energy and knowledge around him.
His students include Sensei Taishi - who himself teaches at the Original Dojo at Kiyo University opened in Tokyo by the Founder of Modern Karate - Sensei Gichin Funakoshi!
sensei subodha dhiman
Sensei Subodha is the Director of Renbukai Karate India.
He has been teaching for more than 30 years now and has avast experience in Full Contact Fighting, Meditation and Yoga as well as Advanced Self Defense Techniques.
For years, he trained under various internationally renowned masters like Sensei Toshihiko Kikumura, Tadashi Nakamura, William Oliver (Famous in 1975 World Full Contact Tournament Kyokoshin Kai), Medori Kenji Shihan Oyama.
Sensei Subodha Dhiman has not only trained Delhi Police and Indian Navy, but also the famous NSG (Indian Black Cat Commandos).
Sensei Dhiman won Seido National Championship 7 times, which is no mean feat. He has won several other prestigious tournaments such as Indian Malaysian Championship and AIKF(UP) Championship, to mention a few.
He learnt various styles of Karate and was bestowed upon by the Dan Ranking (Black Belt) like Goju-Ryu, Seido-Juku, Kyokushin-Kaikan (3rd Dan) and Renbukai Karate Do (3rd Dan).
He is presently teaching Renbukai Style of Karate under the guidance of Sensei Toshihiko Kikumura.

Sensei Ajay has been training for over 28 years and in the Renbukai India community, is known as the loving Sensei.
Sensei Ajay is extremely dedicated to ensuring quality education for all students and maintains a high standard of training the the Renbukai Dojo.
With his keen observation skills, Sensei Ajay has helped many students transcend their physical limits and execute correct and deadly techniques.
